About Us
Nativae Organics exists because of a gap we couldn't stop noticing.
Batana oil has been prepared by hand in La Mosquitia, Honduras for generations - used for hair, for cooking, for everyday care, long before anyone called it a trend. One brand brought it to American shelves, then got acquired and quietly discontinued. Years later, people are still online asking where it went.
That's the whole reason we're here: a real ingredient, with a real tradition, that nobody was selling honestly anymore.
Sourced from La Mosquitia
Our batana comes from the American oil palm (Elaeis oleifera), harvested and prepared by Miskito families in the Mosquitia region of Honduras using methods they've used for generations. We can tell you exactly where it comes from, because that traceability is the entire point.
Made the traditional way, not the industrial one
Most oils on a shelf have been refined - bleached, deodorized, stripped down until nothing distinctive is left. Ours isn't. It arrives thick, dark, and unmistakably itself, with the roasted, coffee-like scent that real batana can't hide. One ingredient. Nothing added, nothing diluted.
Checked, batch by batch
The most common complaint in this category is that the second jar doesn't match the first. So we check every batch for colour, scent, and consistency before it ships, seal every jar properly, and fill it to the line. A Certificate of Analysis is available on request. You should never have to wonder whether you got the real thing this time.
We're not going anywhere
We're independent, and we intend to stay that way. No watering down the formula to protect a margin. No surprise reformulation. The oil you love today should be the same oil you reorder next year - and if it isn't, we haven't done our job.
The honest part
We won't promise you results in three weeks. Batana works the way it always has - slowly, with consistent use, over weeks and months. We'd rather tell you that up front and earn your trust than sell you a timeline we can't keep.
